Chili Crisp Buffalo Wing Sauce

This addition to our catalog of wing sauces is a spicy fusion of Asian and Buffalo flavors. You get the tang of the hot sauce, creaminess of the butter, a touch of sweet from the Chili Crisp aromatics, and some additional heat from the chili flakes.

  • 2 Tablespoons Chili Crisp
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon honey (optional for a little more sweetness)


  1. Heat a medium sauce pan over medium heat
  2. Add Chili Crisp and toast until fragrant, 10-20 seconds
  3. Add butter and stir until melted
  4. Add soy sauce and continue stirring
  5. Reduce heat to low
  6. Add hot sauce and honey, continue stirring to fully incorporate the hot sauce and butter mixture fully.
  7. Remove from heat and serve

  1. Absolutely sensational! I used Frank’s Hot sauce with the chili crisp. Did not use honey.
