Ingredients

- 3 frozen bananas
- 1 tablespoon raw cacao
- 1 tablespoon maca
- 1/4 cup oat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Toppings (sub or add in anything tasty you have on hand):
- Coconut flakes
- Chia seeds
- Granola (they made homemade)
- Bee pollen (for non-vegans)
- Coconut whip
- Cacoa nibs
- Hemp seeds
- Flaxseeds
- Almond butter
Instructions
- Thorow frozen banana, raw cacao, maca, oat milk and vanilla in blender and…blend!
- Add toppings and enjoy
I don’t cook a lot what is maca?
Good question- it’s a root that is often considered a superfood and often used in powders. Like turmeric or ginger. In fact, I’ve heard it called “Peruvian ginseng” before. It’s pretty “earthy” tasting, so it’s often added to sweet things like protein shakes.
