Sweetness and a little spice make these a popular and healthy snack. It is quick and easy to make with not a lot of ingredients. These are low sugar but can also be made keto. I usually make a larger batch at a time. 3-4 batches fit in a 9 X 13 pan.

  1. Place pecans and butter in a round or square pan and place in an oven at 375 degrees (no need to preheat)
  2. After approximately 10 minutes, the oven should be heated and the butter melted.
  3. Stir the pecans and butter together, and then mix in the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Roast 5 minutes, and stir again.
  5. Continue roasting until the pecans are slightly dark to your taste, usually 5-10 minutes more (but check every 3-4 minutes and stir)
  6. Remove from oven and transfer to parchment paper so they do not stick to the pan as they cool
