“Tell Me of Your Home World, Usul” Broccoli and Zucchini Dune Dish

A side dish (or entree for vegetarians/vegans) for your Dune dinner party. Because that’s what we’re all doing to celebrate the October 22, 2021 release of the new Dune movie, right?!




  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. Cut the broccoli into “trees” and the zucchini into 1×2 inch pieces
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, syrup, spices, nutritional yeast, and salt until combined. Toss the cut broccoli and zucchini in the mixture until well coated.
  4. Place the mixture on an aluminum foil lined baking sheet and garnish with sliced almonds.
  5. Roast at 450 degrees F for 25 minutes, stirring halfway
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with more sliced almonds.
