A fruity, piney, potent spice with some minty tones, cardamom works great in everything from desserts to savory meat dishes and citrusy meals. Cardamom powder is the simplest form of cardamom to use in recipes (as opposed to buying the pods whole). 1.5 teaspoon = about 10 whole cardamom pods.
We have walked the farms with our fair-trade farming partners in Sri Lanka. This is this highest quality cardamom on the planet. We ship very frequently from Sri Lanka, and it is very fresh. Its potent flavor will last at least nine months to a year at peak freshness, but can be used for at least another year. We also offer organic Green Cardamom Pods, Black Cardamom Pods and Cardamom Seeds.

If you like to use Cardamom you’re going to love this. Now that I’ve experienced store bought versus Pinch Spice, there really is no comparison. This makes the store bought version taste “watered down.” There is also a visible difference and it’s obvious which looks fresh. The taste is amazing. We’ve been on a journey to eat cleaner and healthier every year for a while now. When I realized all spices are not the same quality, I found Pinch Spice online in Louisville. I purchased in one fell swoop all the spices we regularly use and threw out all the store bought spices and replaced them with Pinch Spice. I have not been sorry. Cardamom powder helps me regulate my hypertension. I saw this in a video presented by a well known MD and combine it with an organic apple cider vinegar in water. The Cardamom in powder form doesn’t aggravate my gallbladder like the seeds. It works for me!
