Finding out the “organic, non irradiated” garlic I have been purchasing for years comes from China, brought me to Pinch. I love garlic, drown everything in the powder. When I first found out about Pinch Spice a year or so ago I gave granules a try. These flavorful organic garlic granules are the BOMB! I started using garlic granules after I discovered that my favorite local pizza restaurant (Pizza Perfect in Nashville) kept it on their tables to sprinkle on pizza, which took the flavor over the top. Then I started using them on so many other things, like sprinkling it on my morning chunky hashbrown potatoes, veggies, steak, in soups, etc. It’s VERY hard to find garlic granules that aren’t sourced from China, and also find organic, but these garlic granules check all the boxes by being organic, grown in the US, and so fragrantly tasty. I used to use the garlic powder but it was dusty because of being so finely ground, and I find these granules to be easier to work with. When my Gilroy garlic farm stopped selling there granulated, I was at a total loss.
My online search for a suitable replacement led me to Pinch. The granulated garlic from Meghan and Thomas was even better than the Gilroy, and being fair trade was a total win on both accounts.
I found a rub recipe years ago and use on everything, ribs, chicken, seafood, etc. I was tired of always running the store, in a pinch, for the one spice I was missing at a pricey amount for such a small quantity.
