Lisa Michele –
I put it on chicken, grilled it and put it over angel hair with olive oil and a touch of parm. Delicious! The flavors are wonderful, and a change from what I usually use (jerk, chipotle bbq, etc.). So glad I made extra so I can have it for dinner again tonite! I have been pleased with EVERYTHING I buy from you.

Wonderful aroma in the packet when I opened it. I use it on roasted chicken and veggies. Also used some of it to flavor spaghetti sauce. This spices blend gives your food an amazing taste.

This is the first spice blend from Pinch Spice Market that I was disappointed in. I have nearly 20 years of restaurant experience (every position from dishwasher to manager.) I have been buying/using Morton & Bassett Herbs From Provence for over 20 years. It has a very floral and fresh taste. I use it on chicken, turkey, salmon, pasta, and roasted root vegetables. I like the spices from Pinch Spice Market, and I like doing business with PSM. The shipping is very fast. The spices are potent, organic, and much more flavorfull than those from M&B. Except for this Herbs de Provence. It has a STRONG cumin odor, even though there is no cumin in it. The cumin overpowers ALL of the other spices in this blend. I would have rated it one star except for the fast shipping and the usually fine products I have come to expect from PSM. I feel guilty leaving this negative review, but I think PSM and potential buyers need to have an accurate review to make their informed decisions. Sorry. Hopefully my next review will be more positive. As for this Herbs de Provence, I will be tossing it and ordering the replacement from M&B.

We make everything in small batches and we are checking out our herbs de provence right now. We are not sure what could have happened, but there should not be a smell of cumin in this blend. We really appreciate the feedback and will be contacting you directly to offer a refund or replacement. While we strive to be perfect, we also recognize that things happen from time to time, and this kind of feedback is crucially important for us.

This was my first time buying Herbs de Provence to add to my spice stocks. I’ve always loved it when I have tried it in restaurants, etc, but for some reason never remembered to find a good organic one for home use.
This one is excellent! Unlike the review above, my batch was great and didn’t have any trace of cumin– family & friends often say I have a nose like a hound dog, as I’m very sensitive to smells and flavors, and I didn’t detect anything out of the ordinary in this blend.
Upon opening, the herbs smelled super fresh and floral. I mixed it with Pinch’s black pepper & gray sea salt, Pinch’s garlic granules, and some avocado oil to make a wet rub for a whole chicken, which was then slow roasted in the oven for 3 hours. It was so ridiculously good! Really great change this winter from our usual spicy chicken rub. Very excited to try some new recipes with Herbs de Provence!

Classic mix. I add to to vegetables and chicken. And as always, Pinch spices are fresh and aromatic. Beats grocery store spices any day of the week.
