This is a very fresh mace that has a fantastic citrus flavor and aroma. What is mace? It’s in the nutmeg family and adds a delicate sweet and spicy flavor to your dishes and baking. It’s most commonly used in Indian food, curries, stews, on meat and in baked goods. It’s especially popular with people who think nutmeg is too strong. We source ours directly from our farmer friends in Sri Lanka, whose beautiful land we’ve proudly walked with them.
