This parsley is the bomb! It is clear that it was dried fresh and stored well because it is fairly aromatic (for parsley, which is normally not very aromatic), light, and crunchy. It reminds me of kale chips – and I often will sit at the table and eat it by the spoonful (yes I recognize that is a bit weird, but its so good)!
It livens up my oatmeal, soups, blended dips, and actually imparts some flavor (again, dried parsley I have experienced in the past is pretty subtle/quiet).
I have purchased this parsley numerous times and will continue to purchase this parsley from PSM (highly consistent and high quality)!

I just received my order with the Parsley leaf. I can certainly tell it is fresh. When I ordered 4 ounces of the Black Malabar ground pepper, it came in a small bag about 3″ x 5″. When I received the Parsley Leaf it came in a huge bag. I then realized that the 4 ounces is actually the weight of the product and since parsley is light and fluffy and the pepper is more dense, the bags are different. This prompted me to examine the cans of spice in my cabinet. Most all were 2 ounces, but they were all in the same size can. Something is definitely wrong with that. I am gradually replacing all my existing spices with the Pinch Spice brand so I just have to remember that 4 oz of one might not be the same as 4 oz of another.

I ordered a giant bag of this parsley. It ended up going into 2 ball mason jars, and then a small spice jar. I know we will use it up quickly though. From first inspection, I love seeing how green this spice is. Other old parsley just does not compare. It is fresh and flavorful. I used to think adding parsley did not really add anything to the dish, but now I know that is just not the case.
I can’t wait until I have all of my spices from Pinch and in beautiful mason jars to ensure the freshness. Thank you!!
