Our freshly dried rosemary from Tunisia is extremely flavorful. It’s a fragrant evergreen herb with needle-like leaves and white, blue, purple, or pink flowers. It’s member of the mint family. It has hints of mint, lemon and pine and twinges of black pepper and bitterness that gives it depth. Fun fact: The name derives from the Latin words “ros” (dew) and “marinus” (sea)… giving it the romantic “dew of the sea”. It’s often used in grain and mushroom dishes, poultry, lamb, pork, steaks, oily fish and game and in hearty filling soups and casseroles.

Ordered this as a ground powder and it is magnificent! Total game changer when making custom spice blends! My latest favorite is to make a paste with Pinch’s Harissa and Rosemary coat chicken, fish, or sprinkle on veggies!

I have never been able to smell dried rosemary needles from a grocery store bought little bottle. The aroma for this rosemary was so fragrant immediately upon opening the bag. It made for some delicious gluten free focaccia bread. Thank you Meaghan and Thomas!

My father grew rosemary “hedges” on his hillside as it’s drought resistant, bug resistant, most “critter” resistant, holds the ground during rainy season and there’s nothing like fresh rosemary when you’re cooking or for baking breads. I ordered the pound bag because I use rosemary for cleansing like a lot of people use sage. When I opened the bag it was like being on Dad’s hillside snipping sprigs off the bushes. I’ve NEVER bought rosemary that was so aromatic unless I was buying it fresh. I must admit I’ve yet to buy ANYTHING from PSM that I haven’t been happy with. Their quality is top tear and their staff is friendly and helpful.

It’s Pinch rosemary! What else do you expect? As fair a price as it gets for this level of quality. Ditch the supermarkets!!

I’ve been roasting chickens and potatoes with rosemary for decades, and nothing beats a high-quality, fresh leaf like this one from Pinch. Their organic rosemary has an intense, fragrant aroma right out of the bag—notes of pine, lemon, mint, and a touch of peppery bitterness that adds real depth. Grocery store rosemary is usually faded and weak; this is vibrant and potent, so you use less to get more flavor. The freshness shines through because Pinch sources organic spices directly— you can really taste it. Order arrived in just a few days (super fast shipping!), and their customer service is top-notch. This is now my go-to rosemary—highly recommend for any serious home cook! Organic spices cost a fortune in the grocery store, so it has been wonderful to find Pinch Spice Market with their great prices.
